Robot Chess Game
The Positronics ChessMan project was an in-house endeavor to practice and develop our skills in designing, integrating, and programming commonly used components such as motion control, machine vision, networking synchronization, robot simulation architecture, and artificial intelligence. The system is composed of an Adept SCARA robot with a specially adapted end effector, a Matrox capture and vision processing board, and a UCI compliant chess intelligence. The underlying code uses a blend of the C#, C++, and Adept V+ languages.
