Application: Control System and User Interface for K&S 1470 and 1419 Wire Bonders. The system is a replacement for the controller originally designed by K&S. The Q2170 is the Wedge Bonder and the Q2119 is the Ball Bonder. The application controls the wire bonding process and achieves speeds comparable to the original K&S machines but programming is much simpler and flexible. The vision system employed is more capable than the K&S supplied model.

Application 2: Cell Control Software for a Disk Handling System for the Disk Drive Industry. A Cell Control Computer is responsible for the overall coordination of a system that directs the operation of an Adept controlled 13 axis system and Servowriters as well as RS232 based conveyor controllers.
