Howard Miles has worked in the Industrial Automation industry for over 20 years. He has a passion for robot and motion control programming. His career has taken him through software development, project management, middle management and is now Positronics' president. Howard's hands on approach helps keep him in the loop on the technical aspects of projects and regularly takes part in system design as well as software development tasks. Keenly aware of what it takes to make automation projects successful, he is truly one of the people you want on your automation project. He started Positronics in May of 2001 and is the company's President.
Vincent Leung has worked in the Industrial Automation industry for over 10 years. He has become the "Cell Controller" expert and has architected and developed software for many PC-to-process equipment-to-robot applications. His technical prowess, soft spoken manner and cool demeanor make him an ideal candidate for addressing projects that are high profile and require a skilled thought process in difficult situations. He has been working for Positronics for the past 6 years and is the company's Vice President.
Scott Penner has worked in the Industrial Automation field for over 10 years. He brings his motion control, SCADA, and .NET expertise to Positronics. As a former employee of Nanometrics Inc (a manufacturer of precision wafer metrology tools) and UBM (a manufacture of surface inspection machines) Scott brings a strong background in metrology applications to Positronics. Scott is a talented software engineer with a mechanical engineering degree. He has been working for Positronics for the past 3 years and is one of the company's key project managers and software engineers.
Dan Bryant has worked in the Industrial Automation industry and for Positronics for 5 years and has become one of the company's key technical software engineers. Dan is truly a "jack of all trades" and easily handles any software development or troubleshooting task with extreme focus and confidence. From PLC development to machine vision, digital multi-meter integration to .NET software architecture, Dan has proven time and again that his ability to identify and attack the root of a project put him at the top of his game. He has specialized in Omron PLC application development and has been the driving force behind Positronics' Omron Direct component and the ExMods PLC Simulation Environment.
